I guess the part I'm finding unbelievable was that the Jeep Cherokee could have been "wedged" in there so well as to make this whole scenario possible. The Jeep's tires probably had to have been sitting between the ties (and not on top of them) and the width of the Jeep at the tires must have been just less than the inside width of the rails. And then when the cab car hit it, the Jeep would have to have been instantly forced "tighter" into its "cage" to cause the cab car to have nowhere to go but up and over the vehicle. Amazing. |
