If he was on the grade crossing, this wouldn't have happened. It is possible he didn't know (heck, I didn't know) that placing his vehicle there would make the train derail. One reason I can think of for why he parked on the tracks was to get out of the way of automobile traffic, and to prevent someone else driving right by from pulling him out of his Jeep. |
