Usually, they blink the interior lights and say that everyone is required to get out, but they don't sit in the station forever waiting to make sure the train is empty. Some operators will even announce that if any passengers remain on the train, they should remain seated until the train returns to the station. Many times, there is a new T/O at the other end of the train to reduce the time of the relay. |
