Yes, you are right, it would have had to have been rebuilt....but of course, not anything too extreme. Yes, the stations would have had to have been redone, but don't forget, Fort Hamilton and 13th were built no differently than any of the other F line stations on it's el, it's just that they weren't maintained. However, most of the other current F stations were rebuilt anyway over time. And of course the track structure, but again, that wasn't anything they didn't have to do on most of the other lines in the 80's either...
