What about people wanting to get ON the train? How many of them would have been on the Manhattan-bound platform?So they had to wait a few minutes for the next one or (gasp!) take the local. How about the elderly or handicapped who would have had extreme difficulty crossing under so they could get a local? The elderly or handicapped backtracking to, say, 90th or 82nd were given a reprieve. |
