Posted by Jailhousedoc on Sun Jan 16 13:20:34 2005 A police officer friend of mine who works at 59th St. Columbus Circle told me recently that the regulation about banning photography in the subways is not official - yet. He did tell me that if he gets a call that someone is taking pictures, he and his partner have to check it out - that is what his orders are. He also told me that he thinks that the proposed ban is stupid because there are plenty of pictures already on the internet which have been there for years just for any terrorist to check out at leisure. We agreed that those at the top have their heads in the sand - and seriously need to get a clue. |
