Outside rush hour, people tended to avoid these cars (as people do today with hot cars in the summer), but the R42's were so bad with interior lighting that a consist made up of nothing BUT dark cars was not that unusual. The K/B suffered the most because it was mostly R42's assigned to the line, wheras other lines may have only had a small number of them assigned. |
