Cause and effect doesn't apply here. Its practicality and reality that prevails. If it is more practical and more realistic to use where the LL loop and the Madison Ave yard were to make their station more accessible, then thats what they did. Nobody is making an issue of losing the LL loop. This goes back to when Amtrak left all those years ago that freed up more tracks on the upper level that made the LL loop expendable. |
