The April 24, 1960 timetable list trains a day between Jersey City and Philly. The Crusader and the Wall Street account for four of these. Saturday saw two westbounds and three eastbound with the Wall Street making one trip in each direction. Sunday had three westbounds and four eastbounds. There were no namerd train. Service was cutback to weekdays only by 1966. The October 30, 1966 timetable lists two trains each way, The Wall Street and The Crusader. I recall seeing both of these trains at Penn Station Newark post Aldene. They both were running with RDC's by that time.. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
