Since many aspects of transit service are affected by politics, then transit related political topics, definitely DO belong in either Subchat or Buschat as appropriate. As an example, it was NYC’s Mayor LaGuardia who was responsible for forcing Third Ave RR to get rid of its streetcars and cancelling the order of an additional 500 PCC trolleys for Brooklyn. |
