Total nonsense. Committing a dismissal offense has nothing to do with being vested or not. Having one year or 20 years, if you get caught stealing, fighting on company time or property, substance abuse & insubordination, absenteeism are a few examples of what will get you fired. These were all worked out in various collective bargaining agreements agreed to over the years with all the unions. Those examples I cite (with the possible exception of stealing) are examples of a non "work related crime "
I see you never worked in a union shop before.
I was an assistant general chairman of one of the OT&E (other than train & engine) unions & I know of what I speak.
