I wonder if this also is a trial balloon to have service run between Grand Central and Albany or Saratoga Springs on a much more frequent basis beginning in 2027. There have been suggestions once Belmont Park reopens with the new grandstand next fall and Aqueduct closes for good of after the Belmont Stakes going to Saratoga for the entire summer starting in mid-late June and racing there through Labor Day, going to as many as 12 weeks. Especially with Saratoga becoming an increasing popular destination for more casual fans of Horse Racing, I can see where this service would become very popular. |
