The C types were downright ugly with their mismatched trailer car in the middle and their doors riding on outside tracks rather than the Q cars' much better solution having their doors retract into pockets in the car sides as on subway cars. However they could have donated their original motor trucks to the Q cars after the abandonment of the Fulton St. line in Brooklyn after April 1956. |
