It is somewhat apparent that full compatibility between rolling stock is not of interest to the decision makers at the MTA.I noticed it with the R142 and R142A. They tried to do a MU on the 5 back when the cars were new (5 cars R142, and 5 cars R142A). There were a number of problems including the FIND displays in the R142As would not work. There were some problems with the doors as well. |
