True. A/C was overworked.

In the summer the E terminals, both Parsons E, and WTC were brutally hot.

NYCT has a policy at terminals to conserve energy. "Partial close down". A
train at a terminal will close all doors but one(crew door) in each car.

I think someone said the reason the
R32 went to the J instead of Broadway BMT was to avoid Montague tubes.
