I love the J line from a railfan perspective but it's extremely slow especially the old section from ENY to Crescent St. due to the sharp curves and stations in close proximity to each other. However it is interesting due to the ability to see the various neighborhoods it traverses before crossing the bridge into Manhattan and going underground for the rest of its journey to Broad St.
