An early "Train of Many Metals," I see: an R-38, followed by an R-40M, followed by an R-32, all in the same train. Wasn't this around the same time they started mixing and matching R-12 through R-36ML cars on some IRT ("A Division") routes?Yes, I was told that a supervisor from the "A" division was sent to the "B" division and he replicated the mixing of car classes on the "B" division.
