Thanks, but it still boils down to more money. The MTA made the decision to ask advertisers for more money because they didn’t want to absorb the costs themselves. So it’s not that much different from what a I stated.

So the result was the MTA preferred dingy cars to spending a few bucks to maintain well lit cars.
