If it's a multi-million dollar policy on a key employee, I agree that a hazardous conduct clause is fair game. For a broad-based policy, it should be restricted to the commission of a felony or suicide for a certain mumber of years after the start of coverage.Life insurance is a terrible way to try to enforce good behavior. Higher premiums for smoking, or similar things, are less drastic approaches. |
