AFAIK they do nowadays since suicide is considered an extreme symptom of mental illness, Survival is a basic need as Darwin outlined. When you don't want to survive, thats an example of a flawed mental process. In plain english, you're sick in the head if you want to kill yourself. Thus sick people get their life insurance $$$ to those named on the policy. |
