Growing up along the Flushing Line the consists were not mixed. But in the early 60s when they went to 11 cars in the rush hr & 8 cars middays, in the PM rush hr building the consists back up to 11 cars, they often would make the build up with whatever was nearby. Often 11 car trains would be 8 cars R12/14s & 3 R15s or vice versa. |
