In fact, reading a book after I've seen the movie seems an unlikely prospect as I'm lazy by nature. Back to the movie, the producers made a point, at the end of the movie, to state that the TA gave no assistance in the filming. Obviously, then, the Lindsay administration had to lean hard on the TA to get some of the movie filmed against TA wishes. The single car operating through 14th St comes to mind as does the clearing of A2 track at court St. for much of the filming.As you've read the book, did the C/R in the book make the same errors as to car length, weight and cost or was that just in the movie? |
