I remember plans to run NYCT Subway on the LIRR Lower Montauk from Jamaica to 63rd Connector. I don't know if it was a proposed shared ROW or if LIRR was going to continue it's service too. But I will always remember the small-business owners in Glendale working hard to get signatures against the proposal. |
