NY Rep Elise Stefanik and former rep Chris Gibson are also Amtrak supporters. They pushed back on Anderson's rule change that resulted in the Toys for Tots train being cancelled. Stefanik has also been championing the efforts to get preclearance in Montreal because the Adirondack is the primary train through her district, and got a Golden Spike from NARP for her efforts. |
