I think if you flew a big jet into one of the towers, the tower would probably incur relatively minor damage. The WTC was built flimsy. Bridge towers are not.

A big jet might destroy a main supporting cable, I suppose.

Besides, have you noticed that airplanes don't get hijacked since they made the cockpit inaccessible to passengers and crew?
