James Greller's "NYC Subway Cars" has an awesome, taken-at-sunset picture of a train with an R40M lead motor (can't see the rest of the train) at Rockaway Parkway (LL) in 1969. Also visible in the pic are SLECO street lights-IMO, the best looking ones NYC ever had- and an A&P supermarket.
