If it was in 1969, then the entire consist was R-40Ms. That was the same train I mentioned that I operated in June of that year when 3 X 6 car trains of R-40Ms were sent to the 14 St Line to give Canarsie passengers their promised A/C trains by a certain date sine the Eastern’s R-42s were not yet available for service. |
