According to Interested Rider, on NYCTF, this exit to Avenue Y and Shell Road was closed in 1957, when the steel structure for it was still visible. I just looked on the Transit Museum Past Perfect website, and found pictures of it still standing in 1950. Anyone have any more information on it, or any idea why it would have been removed?
