The problem with 75-foot cars is curve clearance though, right? IIRC on the bridge approach and also the Crescent St curves, there is too much overhang off of 75-foot cars to allow side by side operation.Otherwise we'd probably see 6-car trains of 75-footers (450ft) in the Eastern division with regularity. |
