The carfloat method was what I figured if there was no other direct BMT-IND connection back in 1948.I did not know about the manual hand thrown switch at Ditmas - that's interesting (maybe read about it here earlier, but never saved the post and so wouldn't have remembered it). I remember sometime in the last couple of years or so, there was a lengthy thread on the connceting ramp between Church Ave. and the Culver line - when it was completed, and when was the initial trackage etc. installed. |
