Yup.My first ride that I can remember was on the QJ heading to Brooklyn. I remember watching my Dad crossing the tracks at 168th from that old building there..and being happy to see all of us. Gave Mom a big hug/kiss...grabbed my head with that silly "Hey SPORT!" thing he always did...and kissed my sister on the top of her head. What I clearly remember about that day was the R32 sitting on the other track. Never saw one of those before and I asked him about it. EVEN asked him how much it cost! It was a good day. Pops even gave me a dollar when we got off at Halsey st heading to the supermarket. |
