The routes are: B – Boston Road to Bx-26 Boston Road Morris Park Avenue S – Southern Boulevard to Bx-31 T – Tremont Avenue to Bx-40 V – Williamsbridge to Bx-28. It should be noted that the northern Bronx will continue to be served by Westchester County streetcars until 1952. Source: New York Division Bulletin /August 1998 Tuscarora Almanac – August 22, 1965 – The Book of Wrecks New York City Transit Authority BMT Division A massive water-main break at Lawrence and Willoughby Streets in the early morning hours inundates the Dekalb Avenue station causing the suspension of all service between Brooklyn and Manhattan via either the Manhattan Bridge or the Montague Street Tunnel. Service over the bridge was restored in time for the PM rush the next day. Service through the tunnel was restored in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 25.
