The show must go on!In case you're wondering what a borgaschmord is, it's an anagram (maybe butchering is a better word) of the word, smorgasbord. There was a series of commercials for Underwood Meat Spreads in the early 70s featuring a kid named Mason Reese. Underwood's slogan was, "It's like having a smorgasbord in a can," owing to the many different possibilities of serving those spreads. Well, Mason Reese gave it the old college try and would up saying, borgaschmord. A couple of kids around him busted out laughing. |
