Increase G train during L train shutdown & Brooklyn F train.

Posted by Chicago44 on Thu Sep 13 05:15:11 2018

With the G train getting increase service during the L train shutdown with most terminating at Church Av with a few terminating at 18th Av, what about the Brooklyn F train.

There would be too many local trains operating along the local tracks between Church Av & Bergen St which means slower F & G trains which will cause delays & service distruptions along the entire F train.

To reduce the delays & service disruptions along the F train in Brooklyn between Bergen St & Church Av & to provide more reliable service with the G train getting more train service, run 3TPH F trains as expresses between Jay St & Church Av during peak periods.

I read about this past spring in nyctransit.org that someone posted that some F trains would operate as express trains between Jay St & Church Av during the increase but only as 3THP & not go with the larger F train express plan as planned.

I do hope that some F trains in Brooklyn do run as express trains between Jay St & Church Av during peak periods with 3TPH with the increase G trains because you have too many local trains running on the local tracks between Bergen St & Church Av, this would cause too many delays & service distruptions especially for F train riders.
