I missed that bit of news. Makes sense, the C has needed a full length train for the last decade or so.According to Wikipedia, there will be 24 5 car sets, allowing 12 ten-car trains. Doesn't seem like enough, though. The 49 4 car sets still seems excessive. I could see a scenario where the R68's on the G are replaced with the R179's and running 480' trains when the line isn't being run as OPTO. |
