Could be a covenant within the charter. I have no idea, but the stipulation was posted here some years ago by someone.In any event how else could you explain the ridiculous quirky service that was run from the 50s (maybe earlier) to 1998, if not for that. It's obvious they didn't want to run the service if they didn't have to. |
