The 1979 color switches would be when the BMT Broadway lines would have had their letters in black. Also, according to the 1980 standards update, not only LL but also the two "S's' (42nd Street and Franklin Avenue) were designated PMS 430 Grey. It was around 1987 when the Broadway trunk lines' color was shifted from PMS 130 (which was more amberish) to PMS 116 - and the Eighth Avenue's, from PMS 300 to PMS 286. |
