Then it begs the question of why the Mount Vernon - Subway route, if not a Bronx route, was on a Bronx bus and trolley map and made to look like it was a Bronx route. Evidently the 47 designation was never used after it was converted . . . it also begs the question of the Broadway-Yonkers and Fifth Avenue (Mount Vernon) lines' status at the point of their conversions, whether it was within WST or Westchester Railways' jurisdiction. |
