My aunt lived on Stone Avenue off Broadway and worked in Cedarhurst. Things were so bad that after the riot on her way from work, when she got off of the N31/N32 in Far Rockaway she would have to stop at Waldbaums to do her grocery shopping then haul all of those packages up the stairs to the A train for the ride back to Brooklyn.
