As I mentioned in several posts on this subject, When I first rode the Fkln Shtl circa 1959, not only was the structure still in place, but the rails and ties were still there for the entire length of the remaining structure. The next time I rode it which would have been about a year later the rails and ties had been removed and only the steelwork of the structure remained. I wonder if there are any photos around of the structure with rails and ties as I first saw it. |
