Damn these pictures brings back memories. I remember the first time I came here. 1982-was scared to death, Franklin & Fulton was a whole different ballgame back then. I had no clue this was waiting for me when came out of the Franklin Avenue station on the A.. When I climbed those raggedy steps to that wooden platform, that fear stayed downstairs and it was on LOL. I would ride that shuttle every chance I got.It's a shame they had to tear it down. That was true transit history. Thanks for posting. |
