Some of these routes/destinations are difficult to fathom. For example, FULTON FERRY. Had the Ashland Place subway portal been installed, wooden cars would have used the unrebuilt el, west of it.As for, FIFTH AVE EXP or LOCAL, I believe there were plans for a rebuilt BRT 5th Ave el, had the IRT won the 4th Ave subway franchise. But, that never happened. |
