Trying for sarcasm. I grew up around DC decades ago, but discovered how good transit could be spending summer times at my Granddad's in Chicago. CTA had a very comprehensive "Owl" service. I deeply resent the BS midnight closure routine of the "new starts" systems--BART Metro,most of the lightrail routes. When I lived in Philly in 65, I learned how much better CTA was than PTC. |
