There is a crew change at the end of each territory

So IOW, Tokyo Metro T/O operates train to the end of the Metro owned section, then the private operator's T/O takes over the rest of the run to their terminal? SNCF and RATP had this arrangement on RER B until they realized that it was eating up valuable dwell time...
