Each ad impression pays him something like $0.00025 or so. Multiply that by five people each viewing 400 pages for each of the two daily flamewars and Larry makes more than enough to cover the hosting costs.Oh my God, he's making $183 this year. That should just about cover his depreciation and cost of money on whatever computer he has. It doesn't pay for the high speed line he needs, higher than he would need for personal use only. It also pays him zero for his time spent repacking, etc. |
