Yes, but there are a lot of people who reverse commute and again, the number of high rises on the UES is huge and only getting bigger in the upcoming years. Many of those who do have to travel in rush hour peak direction ahead of reaching the UES when things quiet down considerably, something I think being overlooked.

Also overlooked is the fact the UES is so densely populated that you have people out and about and likely going to/coming back from places very frequently. Lets say on weekends having twice as many trains that go directly to Macy's from the UES for example is one of many things that I think will prove popular. That's also why I do it this week.
