Tens of thousands of dollars in contributions were donated to the Trolley Museum of New York over a period of who knows how many years, and this is the result, illustrated below.
Now, they’ve brought up a PATH car and want to spend 60k on a structure just for that car. And what about that wooden BMT Q? Let it rot under the tarp!
We were told electrification would cost 50k. So that comes last? Maybe they have hidden funds. Or they expect more grants. A misallocation of priorities and resources seems to be written policy into TMNY’s Charter. There is no other way to explain these pictures. One thing is certain: donating money to TMNY is much like flushing it down the toilet.

In this photo below, TMNY has a trolley that runs on a gas engine of some sort or another, and they couldn’t find a simple mechanic to fix just this one thing.


That’s the shower stall behind the plywood to the left of the trolley.
