All home phones today require Con Ed Power.This is clearly false and in any event is contradicted by your own next sentence! all you had to do was connect an old rotary phone False! It need not be a rotary phone. Plenty of cheap touch-tone phones to be had which work purely on the power of the landline. You can find them in any store that sells that kind of thing. Many of these even have speakerphones, a hold function with music, and programmable speed dial buttons all without outside power. |
