My (pretty vivid) recollection is that, prior to the Chrystie changes in 1967, Jamaica had only the newer arnines, and that as soon as the F began going to Coney Island after November, 1967, Jamaica then got lots (and lots) of the older arnines. I remember standing on the Manhattan-bound platform at 63 Drive one morning that November and watching train after train of old arnines going to Jamaica. Prior to that, I saw those old trains on the D, never the E, F, or GG. |
