If I recall, that photo, the R-1s in JYd were in the 300 series. From my time in Wash Hts, it seemed that the 100 and 200 series R-1s and the 800 series R-4s were kept uptown with the remaining R-1s and R-4s sent to Queens. After that, I noticed that R-6s and 7s 7s that is 900 to about 1499 were uptown and the 1500 to 1802 were in Queens except for 1575 Which was assigned to 207 Yd and used almost exclusively on the AA/BB probably due to the internal fixtures being R-10 style and more easily maintainable at 207 where the R-10s were. |
